I like doodling with watercolor these days, these are quick sketches that I have done. Some of the asian water color paints are very shimmery, it doesn't show when I scan, but it is fun to use them.

Korean painting

One of my friend Sunny is a master of Korean painting, it was just so amazing how she controlled the brush stroke. She gave me quickie lesson today, and it was really interesting. The painting, basically use Korean ink and paints which is based on water. First one I colored with the paint and the second and the third one, painted at photoshop.

This is the another painting that I did for the " Princess Pea story" Until the color cop, I worked digitally and then painted the final illustration on a wood board with acrylic paints.

This is one of my final illustration from children's book class. I used the acrylic colored, oil wash on the top of it and then rendered with prisma pencil. I think I hardly paint traditionally so wanted to try new technic. It was first time for me using this technic but it was pretty fun!

I'm trying to use more watercolor since I'm taking the class. This is a sketch that I did in life drawing workshop today. I used the color pencil first time to sketch and then wash with water color paint, but the instructor suggested me sketch with water color paint directly other whys it will be too pale,yeah, I think he is right.

This is the drawing from last semester the class called "sustained concept figurative drawing".I'm not even sure this is the correct name, but it was my favorite class so far. We drew the long poses from the models, but the bottom one I drew from my imagination though the model.
